Do you finish what you start? Maybe you have this open loop or maybe you have this thing that you’ve always wanted to do. Maybe it’s always been something that’s been on your vision board or maybe it’s been on the periphery, but I think at this point in our lives, at our midlife, we can see that we have limited time left and that pushes us to finish the things that we’ve always wanted to do.
If you need proof that it’s possible listen to my interview with Saundra Boyd. She had always wanted to go back to school to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. And at the age of 57 finished what she started (after being a registered nurse for 42 years). Then she started her business at age 59.
While the business wasn’t a plan (or a dream) it came about because Saundra was willing to say yes and understood that at this point in our lives, we have faced enough challenges to know that if we can just keep pushing through that good things are on the other side.
