Are you worried about your retirement and financial future? Maybe you aren’t sure about even starting something new because you feel like it would be a little bit less secure than the job you have now. Or maybe you’ve been laid off and you’re a little bit concerned about your financial future. These are common concerns and in this episode of Quick Fix Friday, I’m going to dive a little bit deeper into two areas that will help you take control of your financial future.

Changing Your Money Mindset

If you have negative thoughts about money, if you think that money is difficult to come by, or that it’s shameful to have money, or you’re afraid to ask for what you’re worth, then you probably need to do money mindset work before you even get to the budget. It is important to first understand where your money blocks lie. If it is in a story that you are telling yourself, then you need to first re-write that story before you can approach setting up a budget that will work for you.

Tracking Your Money

There are many different approaches to tracking your money. Do the research and find a method that works best for you. The important thing is to track your money so that you can understand how it flows in your life.
