Ep75 Transcript: Growing Your Business with Webinars
Would you like to grow your business with webinars? In episode 74, I talked to Dr. Edward, the Healing Vet, who has done 90 webinars about his business. I’m gonna dive a little deeper into that in today’s episode of top Takeaways.
Hello Dreamers. Welcome to the Late Starters Club, giving you the inspiration mindset and tools you need to start something midlife and beyond. Remember, it’s never too late to follow your dreams.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr. Edward for many years running his Facebook ads campaigns. And I love his journey. He came to me having never done a webinar before, and now he’s done over 90 webinars over the course of a few years I believe we’ve been working together.
And what I love about this is that he is committed to excellence through this process. So many people think I’m gonna do a webinar. That sounds great. They never repeat the process or don’t repeat the same webinar. Maybe they have a new topic the next time. Well, why not use that topic again if it worked?
We ran a webinar for Dr. Edward. It worked really well right out of the gate, and so he decided to just keep going and launch it again and again. We’re always reaching new people with his webinars. And we’re able to tweak and diagnose problems that come up along the way and improve the process along the way.
Dr. Edward has been super committed to learning more, taking more courses, but also very strategic in what he’s spending his money on. In the episode, he talked about making big investments in his business, and what I like about what he’s done is that he’s always using that investment, to improve. He’s really focused on making the investment, but then implementing what he learns.
And along the way there’s been some different things that he’s tried that certain things haven’t worked as well. So he continues to, improve the process, but also test new things.
One of the things that’s been really great is that he has been able to run his business now virtually, and from his home when he had that illness, that really sidelined him from his business.
So he pivoted, dove in, learned something new in his midlife, and is now really, really successful with that. And along the way with the webinars, he’s tested different platforms and different tools and he’s moved away from certain tools and come back to certain tools, and I think that’s really key too because you might, find that you have an improvement with a new process or a new flow.
He’s even tried running his webinar Evergreen and found that it just didn’t work as well for him. So he continues to serve his audience with these live webinar. And the great thing is too, he, offers great value on the webinar, but then sells from the webinar and enrolls people into working with him further, and that’s how he is growing his business.
So if you are thinking about running a webinar, I definitely highly suggested it’s a great way to get in front of your audience give them some value. Demonstrate your expertise in that topic and then hopefully enroll them in whatever product or service you have available. I know that my business has also been changed with running webinars.
I’ve been able to launch courses, I’ve been able to get new clients, and I think it’s a great way to grow.
